ViewChange Online Film Contest
Link TV, a television channel providing global perspectives on news, events, and culture, is calling for entries of five-minute films that tell stories of progress in developing countries. The contest seeks films about what people are doing to help end economic poverty, disease, hunger, conflict, inequality, and illiteracy and those that show the progress being made towards achieving the United Nations Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). The grand prize is US$20,000 and airing of the film on Link TV and other TV channels worldwide.
Films may be submitted by professional or amateur filmmakers and may be filmed in any format - documentary, short drama, music video, animation, or other formats.
Six categories are available for entries:
- Empowerment
- Innovation
- Leadership & Governance
- Local/Global Partnerships
- Overcoming Conflict
- Sustainability
